The 2020 Nissan Altima and 2020 Toyota Camry Malaysia are work commuters, designed for relaxation rather than excitement. Therefore, the expectations of these two medium-sized cars are roughly similar to our expectations of refrigerators: they should operate normally and meet our daily needs.

Altima and Camry can do most of the above work, and more. The daily difference between our TCC ratings between the two is very small. Camry scored 6.8, followed by Altima with 6.7. Which one is best for you?

Let's look at the numbers.

Altima and Camry trade on interior space and comfort. According to the EPA, both of them can easily accommodate four adults (up to 5 people can be squeezed) and return nearly 40 mpg on the highway in the most popular configuration.

According to our back, Altima is recognized in terms of overall seat comfort and interior space. The front seats are comfortable throughout the day, with enough space to accommodate the wide frame of the Midwest for easy sliding in and out. Altima's rear seats are almost as good, with nearly 36 inches of legroom, and the comfortable seating position provides plenty of room for long legs.

The front seats of the Camry are very good, but the bottom cushion is narrow, and the ergonomic efficiency of the seat is not high. The Camry’s rear seat provides 38 inches of rear seat legroom, which is much larger than the Altima, but getting in and out of Toyota is much more difficult.

The suitcases of these two cars are 15 cubic feet long, enough to hold several suitcases or golf bags. Advantage: Nissan.

Toyota has a solid foundation in covering more areas. According to EPA data, although the two cars rely on inline-4 power in most of the available models, the combined high-efficiency hybrids provided by the Camry exceed 45 mpg, and the basic Camry LE can even manage 52 mpg.
