Revenue was up 15.8% Y/Y from $8.7 billion ($1.08 billion).

The Financial Services Agency has released more accurate information on the matter. According to them, the country earned $1.58 billion ($196 million) in January, the smallest revenue month in the first quarter. In February, the amount rose to $4.51 billion ($559 million) and in March to $4.02 billion ($498 million).  바카라사이트 순위

The gambling industry has been struggling since the COVID-19 pandemic, and things appear to have changed during the first quarter of 2023. Until December last year, when the government began to take measures to spread COVID-19, almost all border regulations were abolished on January 8 this year, and the popularity of the gambling industry has risen again in Macau.

Game sales totaled $11.58 billion (US$1.44 billion) in January, down 82.5% from this year in the same month last year, but rose 450% to $14.72 billion (US$1.82 billion) in April.

Fantastic gross gaming revenue figures:

Total game sales in Macau increased 94.9% year-over-year in the first quarter of 2023, totaling 34.6 billion MOPs ($4.29 billion).

The gambling industry is one of the most important factors in the Macau economy, and tax collections in the first quarter of 2023 amounted to 19.9% of the government's full-year budget of $50.9 billion ($6.31 billion).

The government predicted that total game revenue for the year would be $130 billion, or $16.1 billion. However, since the numbers increased during the first quarter, these numbers are likely to exceed, which means a lot to Macau's economic growth.

After the COVID-19 pandemic, the region lost much of its power as one of the heartlands of South Asia as it gained major profits from tourists from China and Hong Kong, which prevented tourists from entering Macau for a long time, which significantly reduced the region's total game income, but things appear to have changed.
