At Hen Party Yoga, there aren't many things we love more than a great Hen celebration. Being able to see our beloved hen in the full party mood with her most loved woman can be so exciting and special, that there's an element of stress associated with it, particularly when you're planning the grand celebration! We wanted to share some ideas for throwing an unforgettable party without getting worried or making anyone feel uncomfortable! We've been to and thrown a lot of hen celebrations during our time. Some were excellent, others great and some that a little off the mark, so we've had lots to learn from our experience in this area. If you follow our advice, your hen party in Bath will be flying.

Choose A Practical Location

The choice of a location for your hen's party is perhaps the most difficult thing on your list of things to accomplish You want your hen to have an unforgettable, once-in-a-lifetime experience, However, you need to be aware of the limitations of time and budget carefully for guests shouldn't be forced to dig into their own nests to go! A rustic venue is popular because of obvious reasons, but it is best to stay away from remote locales – nowadays Hen parties can extend to weekend events or weeks-long events, and you do not want to be locked together in the same location to host the entire event. Most important is that the venue you choose is open to all – a few women would want to be taken away to a far-flung place if the majority of their guests will not be in attendance.

Tailor the Activities to the Hen's Personality

A majority of the hen parties we've seen focus on good food with a good drink and good friends, however, an evening spent in the backyard isn't suitable for all! If she's looking to turn the evening into a night out perhaps you could plan a chick flick marathon, or even plan for a day trip to a country home nearby to enjoy an Afternoon Tree. The activities you choose to organize can be as imaginative or traditional as you'd like, but ensure that when you're making major choices consider “Is this the kind of thing she'd plan for herself?”

Minimize Drama During Planning

Most likely, you're hosting this party on your own, and having several birds working at the same time is often the cause of tension prior to the party. There's a natural hierarchy in organizing a private hen party, however, the majority of the responsibility falls to the person who is the most organized instead of the one who's known the hen for the longest time. It's fine in theory however, if, for instance, one person is not doing any of the work, and is providing a variety of opinions the situation could quickly get messy. To
keep conflicts at a minimum you should ask the hen to choose not more than three people to help plan the celebration and then divide up the list of things to do early throughout the process. If you notice that one of them is dominating the party It is recommended to step back. The hen will prefer an unsatisfactory party instead of one where the guests are in danger of making a scene out!

Make Sure Everyone Gets Fed

The majority of hen parties are a night of drinking, some more than others! So it's essential that the menus are planned in advance, so that there is enough food available and that every guest's needs are taken care of. The worst thing you could have to have is a horde of hungry guests! When it comes down to the format of your event, there are plenty of options You can set up an informal menu, or sit at a table for a lavish multi-course dinner. Be sure to incorporate meal times into the overall agenda for the entire day.

Remember Your Role as Host

It could be the Hen's Party (the hint is in the title!) But you're the host and while she's having the party in her own life your task is to entertain, control your flow during the celebration and ensure that everyone is taken care of. Whatever location the hen's celebration is taking location, you should think of those attending as guests in your home. Keep an eye out for guests in need of something. Refill the food and drinks as required and, if that someone seems a little lost, make an effort to welcome her to your side. The hen will appreciate it!
