Color grading is a known post-production process in nearly all films and television series. This technique is important for ensuring that a scene matches the emotion or story it is trying to portray.

Color grading, by definition, is altering the lighting and the coloring of a scene to make it look different to the viewers. For example, a setting that is sad or evokes a feeling of remorse is usually colored blue, while a happy scene has light hues of yellow incorporated into it.

Some of the best VFX studios in India and the world use color grading not only to ensure that a certain type of emotion is conveyed through the film but also to improve the quality of films.

When a film is made, it is shot in raw format. Before the final print, several other types of compositing and editing work go into the film composition, as well as the background and score. Color grading is a magical touch added to films to make them look complete. It is an essential part of the entire movie-making and development process.
