ADDING A FEATHER TO THE CAP: THE EASIEST WAY

Living a life overseas appears to be simple. But appearances, as we know, can often prove deceptive. Ask anyone who stays, now-a-days almost every household can boast of someone living abroad, in a land which is not our own motherland, about the hurdles he’d to face in order to stand on a ground ruled by people belonging to a different nationality, and his beatific smile would answer your questions. Facing and overcoming hurdles are a part and parcel of our lives. But there comes a time, when you feel so down under that to win over certain hurdles become unthinkable, without certain amount of external assistance. Going abroad to study is the stuff every dreamer dreams about at certain points in his or her academic career. An overseas degree or diploma, as the case may be, certainly helps later in your career. An Indian degree coupled with a post grad one from a University like the Edinburgh University in the UK or Berkeley University in the US, to name just two amongst the countless universities who open their arms and their classrooms for students of Indian origin, definitely makes a huge lot of difference. And everybody knows it.
Now, who said the famous quote, “Some are born great, some have greatness thrust upon them”? In truth, I forget. But nothing can be closer to the truth. Some of us are more brilliant than others in our academic courses. These fortunate mortals do not have to trouble themselves with the way their future may shape out to be. But for others, a good deal of polishing up becomes necessary in order to secure a place for themselves abroad. It may be a course of study or it may also be any other fields of work. Today a lot of Indian nationals are travelling abroad and getting settled there so as to earn a living. The global community scenario hadn’t been like this even a few decades ago. Has anyone ever wondered as to why or how this global acceptance of Indian nationals is occurring round the world at the drop of a hat? It’s because we have become more and more proficient in the usage of the English language, the official and accepted medium of communication throughout the world.
For beginners and first level learners of the English language, the first place that people frequent to learn the English language is the British Council. With centres in almost all the major metropolises of the country, the British Council conducts the hugely popular TOEFL or Test Of English as a Foreign Language. TOEFL is a prerequisite for all who wants to go abroad, either for study or for work. But since British Council operates for students and other working personnel bound for the United Kingdom, this test helps them only if they are going to the UK. But a test for the language is not all there is to a foreign travel and stay there. There are other problems that people face today, especially obtaining a visa or applying and renewing your passport. I’ve heard from past students of UK universities, that the British Council offers help to students who have applied or have secured for themselves scholarships, in part or full, to arrange for their visa and accommodation.
Ask any French national, whether he or she can converse in the English language fluently or not. In most cases, you may get an answer in the negative. Then why is it imperative for us, to learn the English language? It’s simply because the British had ruled over our country for a long time, long enough to bequeath a colonial legacy or hangover, call it whatever you will. But because it is almost essential to be proficient in the language, in order to secure a place for oneself in distant lands, many private agencies and companies have taken up the initiative to help us learn the language better and thereby also ensure that we study harder and earn more than we’d have actually done.
The Pearson Test of English Academic or just the PTE Academic is one such novel start ups-cum-enterprise. It is the world’s largest computer-based English test. Apart from it being fast, flexible, fair and secure, it offers you the convenience of taking part in the test within the comfort of your home or a nearly centre. The PTE Academic is the gen-next’s most viable option for participating in an English language test. What’s more is the fact that it is widely accepted by a host of universities abroad, who open their doors to Indian students and help them with their studies, immigration and work. The entire procedure of conducting the test is completed within a convenient three-hour session. The results and outcome of the test conducted is declared within five business days. The PTE Academic test is conducted around the year, which means it is held 360 days. The choice is yours and you bet, you’ll never ever regret your decision!!
Held around two hundred centres around the world, the highly accurate and precise marking system thereby ensures the test scores to be consistent. Their palm-vein scanning, randomised test forms and data forensics ensure your test score validity. It is accepted by almost cent percent of universities around the world. You name it and they have it under their aegis!! And the chance of an existing human bias is nil.So it should be #DefinitelyPTE the next time you opt for an English test before venturing abroad. This English Language Test is recognised at such prestigious institutions like Stanford University, Harvard University and Imperial College, London. It is also ben given due recognition and acceptance for visa purposes by the Australian and New Zealand governments.
So the catch line of PTE Academic is quite obviously chosen: Choosing an English Test to go abroad? Do the Math first.

The test centres where #DefinitelyPTE is conducted are numerous and widely spread across fifty countries worldwide. In India, these centres are located in cities and states like Pune, Punjab, Hyderabad, Coimbatore, Chennai, Mumbai, New Delhi, Kolkata and Nagpur.
This is my only entry for the DEFINITELY PTE contest being held on Indiblogger.
