⮚ Cloud offers the features of elasticity and scalability that are required by today’s businesses. The scenario of business is changing all together. We are now moving into the world of microservices. Instead of creating one big monolithic application we are creating small modules to significantly affect the development and deployment process.
⮚ The Software development has undergone sea change, the time required to create applications has reduced significantly paving the way for agile development. The further it extends the new paradigm in the cycle DevOps. It brings agility in the development as it combines the development and operations.
⮚ The limitations of long development and testing schedules hinders the time to market a product where a new feature is added within a short span of time has paved way for DevOps culture thereby imbedding tools and technologies for enhancing greater velocity in development cycle.

The functionality to deploy all the microservices needs a platform that provides an integration with them, and this is provided by the cloud. Today’s businesses need higher availability, Leeser time to market could be independently hosted and tested by small teams which is benefitting through microservice culture microservices.
⮚ The need of the hour is lightweight services that should be loosely coupled. We can test them and make code changes independently. The deployment can be done instantaneously. This picture is further justified by different vendors such as top E commerce companies using the same.
⮚ At NCU we have subjects in Full Stack development specialization that is primarily focused on DevOps, Microservices and Cloud. The NCU student will be undergoing these latest technological trends DevOps, Microservices as we have been embedded in the specialization.
⮚ The student will be making use of tools such as Jenkins, Kubernetes, and Docker to create a CI/CD pipeline and deploying it on the cloud. This provides an added advantage to the NCU student to leverage the new paradigms of the industry and keep up with the latest technological advances and trends.
