That can be a useful shortcut when a wedding project contains long vows, speeches, and conversations. Once a line is found, the editor can look at the footage around it and decide how it fits into the film.

AI has other uses in post-production too. Depending on the tools involved, it can assist with dialogue cleanup, silence detection, masking, object selection, and reframing.

But speed does not automatically create a good story.

An editor still needs to understand why one person's reaction should appear after another person's words. They also have to consider pacing, music, silence, relationships, and continuity between shots.

So AI works best as support rather than the final decision-maker. It can help locate and prepare material, while the editor decides what deserves a place in the finished film.
