Entrance exams for higher educations, especially for professional courses like medical and engineering are conducted by reputed agencies. The sole aim of these exams is to pick the right candidates irrespective of their background and place them in the top institutions in India. The National testing Agency is one among them. It conducts tests like NEET Exams, JEE Exams.

IIT-JEE Exams

Joint Entrance Exam is conducted for admissions in various engineering, architecture and planning courses across top colleges in India. It is considered one of the most difficult exams to clear. It consists of two stages, viz JEE Main and JEE Advanced.

JEE main is conducted by NTA and it consists of two papers. Candidates can opt for both the papers. Paper one is for B.E and B.Tech courses and paper two is for B.Arch and Planning courses.

In 2022 JEE Main will be carried out in two sessions. The following are the benefits of the two sessions.

* If the candidate isn't able to give their best in the first attempt then they get a chance to prove themselves in the second session.

* Above procedure will reduce the number of students dropping a year and no need to waste a year.

* If anyone missed the exam due to unavoidable situations then they can utilize the second session.

* According to NTA – A candidate need not appear in both Sessions. However, if a candidate appears in more than one Session then his/her best of the JEE (Main) – 2022 scores will be considered for preparation of Merit List/ Ranking.

JEE Advanced is conducted by any of the IITs in India. It is only for students who are willing to join only in IITs. Candidates who have passed JEE Main only can appear in JEE Advanced.

Section B consists of 10 questions which are numerical value questions, i.e. the questions have numbers as answers. 5 questions have to be answered out of the total 10 in section B, whereas there are no options in section A. A student must attend 25 questions from each subject. Each question carries 4 marks for the correct answer. -1 for the wrong answer and no marks for the unanswered. Altogether the total mark is 300.
