I would like to share the following message on behalf of Anila Ali and the American Muslim and Multifaith Women's Empowerment Council (AMMWEC):
On May 7th, a delegation of AMMWEC peacemakers will be embarking on a special interfaith mission to Israel and the United Arab Emirates in partnership with Sharaka, a new Arab-Jewish alliance. In the spirit of the Abraham Accords, the trip will explore transcending differences and find common ground to build a better future for all humanity. AMMWEC aims to build bridges of understanding on a human level and learn more about the cultures and faith traditions in Israel and the UAE. Through this experiential learning trip, we can better educate ourselves and strengthen the bond between the Abrahamic faiths. This is how each one of us can contribute to the advancement of peace and coexistence.
We will be meeting the Prime Minister of Israel, the mayor of Jerusalem, Members of the Knesset including the Abraham Accords and Women's Caucu.
