Business News quoted people familiar with the matter as saying Mr Putita had not yet made a decision and that discussions on a possible initial public offering were in the preliminary stages.
Mr. Putita is the owner of the Golden Nugget Casino Empire. The company owns and operates five casinos in four U.S. states. It operates two gambling houses in Nevada, one in Las Vegas, one in New Jersey, one in Mississippi, and one in Louisiana.
The entrepreneur's holding company, Fertita Entertainment, also includes Houston-based Landry's Inc. The company is affiliated with the Landry's Seafe chain, Joe's Crab Shack, and Bubba Gump Shrimp brands.
