After a long wait, Warner Bros finally released the teaser for Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom on Monday (11/9/2023).

In the teaser, Arthur Carry aka Aquaman appears to be riding a transparent giant seahorse.

In addition, there is also a figure of Orm who is facing an octopus robot.

David Kane aka Black Manta also appeared in the 30-second teaser.

His figure is seen holding a green trident while declaring an oath to finish off Aquaman and destroy everything he holds dear.

In addition to the teaser, Warner Bros also shared the official synopsis of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom which will be released in December in the United States.

Here is the official synopsis of Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom:

“After failing to defeat Aquaman in their first encounter, Black Manta, still driven by the desire to avenge his father's death, will try anything to defeat Aquaman once and for all.

This time, Black Manta is tougher than ever, wielding the Black Trident, which unleashes ancient and evil powers.

To defeat him, Aquaman will ally with his imprisoned brother Orm, the former King of Atlantis, to protect their kingdom and save Aquaman's family, and the world, from inevitable destruction.”

Black Manta's revenge

In Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, Arthur Curry aka Aquaman is carrying out his duties as King of Atlantis as well as a father of a child from his marriage to Mera.

Seeing the happiness of the little family, Black Manta's determination to avenge his father's death grows stronger.

He seeks to destroy not only Aquaman and the Kingdom of Atlantis, but also his entire family.

The sequel will also feature King Nereus, Mera's father, and Dr. Stephen Shin, a marine biologist with an interest in Atlantis.

Just like the previous movie, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom still stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Temuera Morrison, and Nicole Kidman.

Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom will be the last DC Universe movie released this year.
