Introduction-

Legal drafting or legal writing is the way of documentation of matters in legal language, legal writings are often used by law professionals to present the case matter before the court and these drafts and legal writings are the basis of the legal proceedings, most legal documents which are presented before courts are in the form of legal drafts with all precise and concise way of writings.

The modern judicial system is based on court proceedings, and these court proceedings are based on the presentation of matters before the court, the judges of the court tend to deal with the matter of civil as well as criminal cases but the documents presented before the court to present these case should be well written and precise in its manner, and these framing of legal documents are known as legal writing or legal draft, well, due to increasing importance of legal drafting many online sources have started providing legal writing and drafting services.

  3. Should be consistent- Consistency of the document is such an important part of legal drafting that it could not be denied, it is important because, without consistency in the document, the draft would look like a simple piece of article and not like the legal writing which possesses the legal value.
  4. Readability- The use of legal jargon is important in conveying the legal meaning of the matter, but its use should be precise, the overuse of legal jargon makes the writing less readable thus its comprehension becomes tough and it loses its purpose of clarity and presentation of the case with simplicity.
  5. Legal compliance- The legal compliance of the draft is one such aspect of writing which should not be missing in any of the legal drafts because the reason behind every legal writing is its compliance with the legality of the law.
