The names of Stoke City midfielder Bae Jun-ho of the English Championship (2nd division), Premier League (EPL) Brentford defender Kim Ji-soo, Scottish Celtic striker Yang Hyun-jun, and German Bundesliga 2nd division Dusseldorf midfielder Kim Min-woo were all included in the entries.

A representative of the national team said, “This is the final list for the Olympic qualifiers. We have completed discussions with the overseas teams, and Coach Hwang Sun-Hong has received a response from the overseas players' clubs that they will release the players. First of all, 18 of the 23 players from the K League will meet first in the convocation training that will be held in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do from the 1st to the 3rd of next month.
