Career: When he was 14 years old he wrote one of his earliest works, a screenplay called Captain Peachfuzz and the Anchovy Bandit. His screenplay is based on Hal Needham's 1977 film Smokey and the Bandit starring Burt Reynolds. Quentin was instructed by his mother to shoplift Elmore Leonard's novel “The Switch” from Kmart after his 15th birthday. He dropped out at age of 15 at Narbonne High School in Harbor City, Los Angeles. After that, he attended acting classes at the James Best Theatre Company.
