Bishnupuri Silk is a raw form of pure mulberry silk known for its soft, lightweight and smooth texture. They are originally from Bishnupur, a town in West Bengal, India. They come in vibrant colors. This is a very pretty blue Bishnupuri silk saree with tribal theme handpainting. The borders features painted some houses and the pallu sports handpainted tribal couple. The saree is soft and very lightweight and easy to drape. It comes with an unstitched blue blouse piece with handpainted borders for the sleeves.
