Diablo 4 currently lacks a time frame for release, but it's expected to drop at some point in the first half of 2023. It appears that Diablo IV Gold fans who are interested in knowing when they can play the game ought that they tune into The Game Awards in December.

An interview on IGN, Diablo 4 director Joe Shely and general manager Rod Fergusson opened up on what the latest adventure has in store for fans of the franchise, as well as give a little insight into how the story gameplay will differ from the Diablo games that came before it.

“You aren't able to pursue the story long this is one of the things I like about the open world,” Fergusson added. “There's lots of side quests, a lot of things you can do that aren't on the golden path.”
There is a rumour that Blizzard may be in the process of preparing to launch Diablo 4 in April 2023. According to recent reports the Diablo 4's probable “2023” release date could be shortened to April. Early access set to start in February, with orders for pre-orders starting as early as next month.
