Our feet do a large amount of hard work from walking, jogging to experiencing new shoe bites and the list goes on endlessly. There is no doubt our feet needs more care and attention than we actually give them. So here are the steps on how to do a pedicure at home step by step.
Step 1:- Remove the old nail paint– The first step to start with the removal of your old nail paints with the help of a nail remover and massage your nails at the same time.
Step 2:- Cut your nails– The next step is to prepare your nails bye by using a nail cutter and clipping the edges shaping up the nails with the help of a filer. So that it smoothens up the rough edges.
Step 3:- Applied the cuticle cream– Apply cuticle cream on your nails so that it can be soft. With the help of cuticle cream you can also use a combination of olive oil and coconut oil. This is the step to be taken before you soak your feet into the warm water.
Step 4:-Relax and soak your feet– Now is the time am to soak your feet in the warm water tub. Relax for about 15 minutes .You can try some refreshing bath salts and 2 tablespoon vinegar to water. This activity will give you a spa like experience.
Step 5:-Remove the dead skin– You need to dry one foot at a time. Use a cuticle pusher to push back the cuticles so that it removes the dead skin. If there are crack heels and hard skin then use a foot filer or a puma stone to remove the remaining dead skin from the sides of the feet.
Step 6:- Scrub your feet -Do a good foot scrub all over your foot, So that it removes the dead skin. A naturally homemade foot scrub can also be used.
Step 7:- Moisturize your feet– After having removed the dead skin. Apply a good moisturizer to moisturize your heels soles and ankles especially during winters.
Step 8:- Apply nail paint– After you are done with moisturizer apply a nice nail paint of your choice. You can also can go for nail art if you have interest.
