Lonavala Adventure Destination India

These mountain stations can be found in a distance of approximately 5 kms from another and draw a huge audience all throughout the year from several areas of the nation and overseas. Lonavala and Khandala are located at a distance of 64 km from Pune town and about 96 kilometres from Mumbai. The panoramic beauty, green valley, gushing waterfalls and historical forts are the primary attractions of both of these mountain channels of Maharashtra.

Lonavala is large in the region in the comparison between both of these mountain channels. Although Khandala is smaller it is famed for the calmness.

Karla

Karla is famed because of its biggest Chaitya Caves that were constructed in 800 BC. The principal attraction of the caves is that the preservation of Buddhism and assorted carved pictures of Lord Buddha. Its gate was constructed in the form of a peepal Leaf'.

Lonavala Lake

Inspired by the calm and scenic perspective, Lonavala Lake is situated at a distance of about 1.6 km from Lonavala city. It's also known by the title of Bushi Lake.

Shivaji Park

Shivaji Park is also a famous attraction for people which was previously called a playground. It had been converted into Parkin 1956. The most important attraction of this park is the statue of Shivaji Maharaj.

Tiger's Leap

After seeing this website if one appears towards the valley, then it appears as a Tiger jumps to the valley. An individual may have a panoramic view of this green valley in the stage.

Duke's Nose

It's found at approximately 12 km from Lonavala city. This is only one of the most favoured destinations in Maharashtra by hikers. As it looks like the nose Duke of Wellington, it had been termed Duke's Nose. It's also referred to by the title of'Nagfani', meaning hood of a snake, because it seems like it.

Ryewood

Ryewood is a garden that's located near to Lonavala city and brings visitors as its place is covered with lovely tall trees. Among the principal attractions of the garden is the early Mahadeo Temple.

Reversing Station Point

This gorgeous view is situated 7 km from Lonavala and is quite famous for its mesmerising view of railroad line crossing through channels in the gorgeous valley.

Rajmachi Fort Trek

Rajmachi Fort is a must-visit location whilst travelling to Lonavala and Khandala. Since it's surrounded on three sides by deep valleys, an individual can simply reach this place in your foot.
