However, a question arises as to why a career is so important only after the results come out. Isn't a career about building a life and why not think about it by September, October, November, and December !!
But the way things are, we never take a holistic approach to building a career. We believe that a career is just about enrollment and so this June-July career passion; If I could say that.
I fully understand that enrollment is the first step in the journey towards a career destination. Needless to say, getting on the right train is very important. This is a turning point in one's life. Admission is limited to a given month but decision-making can take place at any time of the year. Career counselling can be held at any time of the year.
There is nothing better for a counselor than to know the strengths and weaknesses, the interests and the challenges. It helps in providing clarity of vision and mission and finding common ground between dreams and reality. Between dreaming and enabling yourself to fulfill it. Between finding the power behind your dreams. Be bold to say that it is better to be yours than someone else's.
