Apple launched its new 24-inch iMac, and it has some exciting features that attract the audience. It has added the new M1 chip that is surely different from the first series of the M1 Macs, which also has the same design as their earlier Intel-powered versions

Keeping in mind the tradition of Apple to keep its product lines harmonious, there is a high probability that these changes will eventually cross over to other Macs. Although many features could be brought but for me, the below 5 features should be the most exciting ones.

Personalized accessories:

The new iMac offers three keyboard designs. These are standard, Touch ID sensors and number plus Touch ID sensors. Also, it gives an option between a mouse and a stand-alone touchpad. Although each of these accessories comes in different colors, you can’t mix colors yet.

Maybe in the future, the option of mixing and matching colors will be given so that you will be able to make your color palette. These features will soon jump to Mac, Mini, or even a docked MacBook.

New colors:

For a long time now, Macs are coming in serious colors, but they were not vibrant enough. They use to come in Gray, silver, and some variants of gold, but now you can get your iMac in seven different colors ranging from deep purple, vibrant orange to plain old silver. Although Apple from its side has not promised these colors in other items, there is a high chance that these colors will jump to other products for sure, like in future MacBook Air buyers.

Magnetic power cable connection:

The magnetic connection power cable does not seem like such complex engineering that it can’t be used in the future in other products. Surely it will not remain a one-time thing. Other iMac sizes and maybe even the Mac Mini and Mac Pro could have these power cables. How effective these cables will be going to be in the long run, only time will tell.

Power brick with Ethernet:

Not many laptops outside the gaming world now come with an inbuilt Ethernet Jack. Surely some Desktop does come. It has been offloaded to the power brick, which makes it easier as now you don’t need to plug and unplug regularly. It will cost you a 30$ add-on feature. This 30$ is the cost of the least expensive model. This feature could come in the upcoming MacBook as a way to add an Ethernet Jack without the need for a USB-C dongle.

High-Resolution camera:

Adding the 1080p camera to the MacBook line like the one used in the iMac will surely fill one of the few week spots in that hardware. Also, the need for a good high-resolution camera in this era of Zoom video calls has significantly increased. So, it will be of great help.

Conclusion:

We all want the best in what we get sometimes. So, here we discuss the 5 new features that iMac has, and it should be in the Apple computer so that anyone who buys an iMac or an Apple Computer can enjoy the goods of both iMac and Apple Computer. Hope you find this information useful. Thank you for the read.
