This rotator cuff exercise should help you build   Nerve Align Review shoulder tendon strength and stability through a full range of motion while becoming pain free. I have tried and tested this active flexibility exercise and used this as an ongoing injury prevention system. After 20+ years of working with high level athletes that experience shoulder pain I have implemented a shoulder tendon “active flexibility” exercise that has increased shoulder stability and strength at the same time. We call this exercise “under arrest” because of the pose positions holding the arms overhead standing with your back against the wall with your arms bent at 90 degrees overhead in the “stick-em up” position. From this point keeping your back on the wall slowly lift your arms overhead until you can one day reach the final position of both arms straight up overhead while your upper and lower back remains tightly pressed to the wall.

Rotator Cuff Exercise “Under Arrest” – This exercise can be performed 1-2x per day everyday or as little as 2-3 times per week to increase your shoulder tendons range of motion. This stretch should be held for 30 seconds working up to 45 seconds at the top of the exercise. Each rep below should be performed in a slow and controlled pace lifting to maximum and holding that position while maintaining your entire back against the wall. This exercise should first be learned and perfected with a physical therapist helping you hold the correct positions throughout the entire exercise. Consult with a physician before starting any exercise. If you experience rotator cuff pain during any of the above exercises STOP and seek professional help.
