All the 13 members of the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) team have been found negative in the latest coronavirus test. This was stated by KS Viswanathan, CEO of the Indian Premier League (IPL) team, to PTI on Tuesday. All of them were found positive in the COVID test conducted early last week.

Indian pacer Deepak Chahar and India A batsman Ruturaj Gaikwad were among the 13 people who were found positive in the Covid-19 test and are undergoing a 14-day separation. All these negatives have come up in Monday’s test.

The result is a relief for one of the most popular teams in IPL. All the 13 affected members, however, will have to undergo a mandatory 14-day separation after which they can join the team only if two more tests are found to be negative. It is learned that all other members of the CSK team have been negative in the COVID test and can start training from September 4.
