The Arctic Monkeys front-line guitar has raised £ 128,544 to support independent music venues.Alex Turner plays a black Fender Stratocaster in an early performance for Sheffield.The money will go to help The Leadmill in Sheffield, where the band performs regularly.Live music venues have been hit hard by the slotxo coronavirus outbreak and the government recently announced a £ 3.36 million grant to 135 grassroots venues.Arctic Monkeys was founded in Sheffield in 2002 and during the early stages of their careers, performed at several small music venues around the country and played regularly at The Leadmill.

It had to be shut down in March due to the outbreak and more than 120 scheduled or canceled.To participate in a charity draw, a minimum donation of £ 5 and 14,410 is required worldwide over a two week period.
