I ordered this as a last resort during the COVID pandemic. I usually buy lovely whole grain brown basmati rice online in Pakistan but was willing to try this one, as it was available. I cooked this up in my rice cooker … and was completely blown away by the fluffy texture, gentle aroma, and how readily I could mix it with other things. The texture and flavor of this rice really come into their own when tossed with a little ghee and saffron or blended with a mixture of sautéed onion, mushrooms, shredded carrots, dried cranberries, and a wee bit of toasted sesame oil. I’m a convert and look forward to inventing new ways to enjoy this delicious rice.

I picked this brand up at a local specialty store to compliment Pakistani dishes and make rice pilaf. Every time it cooks up perfectly not too starchy and has a great aromatic taste and smell. When I returned to the store, they were no longer carrying the range, so I resorted to their official website wbminternational.pk, glad I did as once again it didn't disappoint.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we were unable to get Basmati rice. It's the only one I have ever used, but never this brand. So, I bought it and although shipping took a long time, it was worth it in the end. I don't follow the directions, but make it the “Cuban” way. It comes out perfect every time and is better than any other brand I've used. Additionally, I'm a pre-diabetic, so I have to be wary of what I eat. Basmati is relatively safe in moderation, so I've had zero spikes from it. I've set myself on a subscription, so I'm never without – highly recommend. Thank you for a great product!
