Festival promotes innumerable benefits to the society. They enhance destinations' images in the visitor's mind, making them very useful marketing tools to promote the destinations and their attractions. All over the world, people have always been celebrating and honouring something related to their cultures with events such as festivals, market fairs, and harvest celebrations.

The benefits of festivals in the social and cultural lives of the people are innumerable, some of which deeply impact the emotional and mental well being of the individual and the society as a whole.

They have a great impact on boosting the local economy: Through tax revenues.

They greatly impact the increased employment and business opportunities: Increased visitor arrivals, expanded tourist season, and extended length of stay and expenditures.

They have a positive social impact: Increasing the community attachment of residents and strengthening community ties with past or existing culture, which help preserve local culture.

They have social and economic benefits, but they also have a very positive and significant impact on the individuals and aim to benefit both the residents and the visitors by instilling a mutual sense of festival motivations and festival satisfaction. Past times, festivals provided a chance to experience things that are different from everyday life and for communal gatherings and collective wishes through art, ritual, and fiesta.
