In India, we eagerly wait for the last quarter- as it comes with lots of holidays and online discount offers. The online sales promise huge savings, and we see it as an opportunity for what we have been waiting for the year long. Happy to see our much-awaited plan probably feasible, we start making lists to buy tools that can ease our daily routine work like washing, cleaning, cooking, etc. or making a festive clothing purchase and a lot more.

Indeed, this is when we make more efforts to revive ourselves, then the last three quarters that we have been busy with work. Be it a spiritual revival, mental revival, or a take-over on our looks- what matters most is how we do not end spending unnecessarily or choosing a  wrong buy in this discount season.

While the spendings come at a discounted price, this is the crucial time when there are high chances of getting misguided when selecting a much-needed item for you to purchase. The listed item that we stare at looks impressive both in color and price. But, it equally true that the sellers sometimes leave a disclaimer, that is usually thin written to come in the notice- something like “this image is only for illustration purpose,” or “Real product may vary from the shown here,”  or “Color may vary from what is shown here.” And, we end up complaining about receiving the wrong product.

Above is not just one instance when we unknowingly make a wrong purchase- some companies make dire attempts to sell an ungenuine product, offering a hefty discount.

How to save ourselves from misguidance?

  •  The one way that usually works is reading the product review, but wait- I don't mean reading the reviews on the seller's website. Though they may help, it has been found in reports that fake reviews have crawled inn at even some high valued websites besides many others. By reviews, I mean a visit to the blogging websites that analyze the products and guide with detailed descriptions.
You may reach these websites by typing the word ” review” or ” best” followed by the product name or product type you want to buy.

Check on more than one review website and decide, followed by conclusions on the features, durability, after-sale services, etc. for the product you want to buy.

  • The Second way I suggest is checking the background of the company offering the product. Many new companies have emerged today. I am not saying that a new company will not provide a good product, but, indeed, the brand establishment doesn't come easy. It takes to offer the right product and good post-sale services to get established in the markets. Please choose a product from a less known company/ seller only when it ensures a refund for the purchased products if the buyer, for any reason, is unsatisfied with the purchase.
  • The last thing I insist on is making a pre-planning. Keep a regular watch on the prices of your favorite product back some months of the sale. It will help you understand the worth of the discount-offers available during the sale season.

Conclusion:

Nevertheless, there can be more ways to make a good purchase; the intent of bringing home the right product should be served. Get ready to tag your family with a smile by spending a little time on reviews and analysis.
