The car makers of Ford and Volkswagen have reach an agreement and established business ties. As part of a product and technology agreement, the new Ranger and Amarok will share the same T7 architecture and technology. Ford will build and engineer both Ford and Volkswagen, but despite of it, I think personally that the Ranger that will have an advantage over Volkswagen , at least according to Ford Australia president Andrew Birkic.
In a recent interview of Car Sales with Andrew Birkic, Ford Australia president, he exuded confidence and following project. Ford has a luxury and an advantage in terms of time and fame. In June, Volkswagen admitted that without the partnership with Ford, the Amarok would not have survived to a second generation. It will also absorb the advantages from other upgrades across the rest of the updated Ranger family. This merits may include new safety features and a more upmarket interior with larger digital displays.
