Honda has put four units of the BS4 Forza 300 on sale. It was just a try so that Honda sold them through the BigWing showroom. Honda has not disclosed the price of BS4 Forza sold in India but it has made an official announcement that this high-performance scooter will come to India with a BS6 compliant engine next year.

“Inspired by the excitement from customers for the Forza 300s exhibited at Honda BigWing, Gurugram, Honda decided to send it to India. We are happy to tell you that the first batch of Forza 300 has been available for our customers. Additionally, we will introduce the Euro 5 (BS6) compliant version in FY 2021,” said Yavinder Singh Guleria, the senior vice president of Sales and Marketing at Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India. Forza 300 is expected to receive a BS6 compliant engine next year.

The BS4 compliance is powered by a 279cc single-cylinder engine. It has liquid cooling and fuel injection. The engine takes a SOHC four-valve layout which enables it to generate 25bhp and 27Nm of torque. You may feel astonished that a scooter can deliver 27Nm of torque. But take it easy. It’s managed by Honda Selectable Torque Control, a primitive traction control system which assists to keep the traction on the rear wheel by calculating the slip ratio between wheels and controlling the engine torque by overriding the fuel injection system.

This Honda Forza 300 takes a tubular steel frame. It is equipped with 33mm telescopic forks. The rear suspension is paired with twin shock absorbers with 7 steps adjustment for pre-load. The front wheel is 15-inch while the rear one is 14-inch. The Honda BS6 Forza 300 gets disc brakes at both ends, which enables the scooter to keep its power manageable. In addition, the ABS is equipped as a standard gear to increase the safety index.

As for features, this high-performance scooter has an electric screen with Digi-analogue cluster, a under-seat storage that can contain two full-face helmets, a speedometer, a thermometer, a battery sensor, a tachometer, and an instrument cluster that shows information like range, trip distance, mileage and ambient temperature.

According to Honda, the price for Honda Forza 300 is Rs 4.65 lakhs. The BS6 version will be more expensive.
