The presence of the Honda Jazz 2021 is expected at the beginning of the first quarter of this year. Interestingly, Singapore is the first place for cars that have undergone various changes, including the available Hybrid variant. For official time, Honda still has not said a definite date.

Apart from the Hybrid version, as the fourth generation, the Honda Jazz 2021 will be available in the Honda Jazz 1.5 Base and the Honda Jazz 1.5 Home. As for the hybrid variant, the product name is Honda Jazz 1.5 Luxe e: HEV. Especially for the Hybrid, actually the two previous generations are available, but only this year is in Singapore. Whereas Indonesia?

The two variants of the Honda Jazz 2021, namely the Honda Jazz 1.5 Base and the Honda Jazz 1.5 Home, will use a 1.5 L naturally-aspirated petrol engine that can generate power of 121 PS with a torque of 145 Nm. The transmission system uses a CVT automatic transmission like the Honda City . Honda claims that fuel consumption is very efficient with a calculation of 4.5L for 100 kilometers.

Meanwhile, the Honda Jazz 1.5L Luxe e-HEV has adopted the i_MMD Petrol-electric hybrid powertrain. The ability of the motor used can produce power up to 109 Ps with a torque of 253 Nm. The results of the power and torque can make the car go 0-100km / h in 9.4 seconds and the maximum speed or top speed of the Honda Jazz Luxe e: HEV reaches 175 kilometers per hour.

While the 1.5L petrol engine found in the hybrid variant is more intended as a charger generator to add traction or work optimally to move the front wheels at high speeds. The performance of this gasoline engine sends power to the electric motor via the clutch.

The use of the transmission on the Honda Jazz 1.5L Luxe e: HEV is unique compared to conventional CVT transmission models. If the conventional transmission still uses the belt as a distributor, the latest models for hybrid cars have been removed. With the e-CVT transmission, it gives the sensation of driving without feeling the shift pause.

In the safety system, the Honda Jazz 2021, which will debut in Singapore, is confirmed to have been equipped with various safety features, including 6 airbags as standard for all variants. However, for a series of ADAS Sensing security features, only the highest variant is available, namely the Honda Jazz 1.5L Luxe e: HEV.

As for the other features available on the Honda Jazz 2021 it is not certain, but it is very possible for Honda to invest in autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control to lane keeping assist.

For the price of the Honda Jazz 1.5L gen 4 in Singapore, it will be priced starting at SGD 94,999 (worth Rp. 1,014 billion) for the Honda Jazz 1.5 Base, while the Honda Jazz 1.5 Home is priced at SGD 97,999 (equivalent to Rp. 1,042 billion).
