The 2021 Honda Forza 750 maxi-scooter has made its official debut. This new model sits at the top of the Forza range of scooters. The Honda Forza 125 and Forza 300 may not be available for the Indian market temporarily, but it has been successful in other markets around the world, especially in Europe. Now, a new member joins the Honda Forza family. Its name is Honda Forza 750, a bigger and more powerful maxi-scooter. It’s powered by a 750cc, parallel-twin engine which can also be seen in the Honda Integra and Honda X-ADV. The automatic dual clutch transmission is also a standard gear.
The maximum power of the Forza 750 is 54 bhp at 6,750 rpm, with 69 Nm of peak torque at 4,750 rpm. The Forza 750 is endowed with throttle-by-wire. It offers four available riding modes——Standard, Sport, Rain and User. Standard mode delivers a balanced middle point between engine power delivery, engine braking and Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC). The Sport version offers more efficient power delivery and ABS as well as low HSTC intervention. Rain features decent engine power delivery, high traction control and high ABS intervention. The User mode allows you to have more flexibility in tweaking engine power and engine braking, with three custom options offered——low, medium and high. The traction control can be switched on or off.
The Honda Forza 750 is equipped with the dual-clutch transmission (DCT) with three shifting modes and a User mode. The difficulty of shifting increases level by level, from level 1 to level 4. The suspension is comprised of 41mm forks up front and a monoshock pro-link rear suspension, which are non-adjustable. The braking is controlled by 310mm twin discs on the front wheel, a radially mounted Nissin four-piston calipers and a dual-channel ABS system.
The Honda Forza 750 has a underseat compartment with a capacity of 22 litres. A USB charger, weather protection for both rider and pillion, LED lightning, lock operation and seat opening, a smart key operated ignition, Honda Smartphone Voice Control System and a multi-function slot. Two spoked alloy wheels support the Forza 750. The front one is 17-inch and the rear one is 15-inch. According to news from authorized sources, the Honda Forza 750 will probably enter the European market in the first quarter of 2021. But Indian consumers will be disappointed, as it’s unlikely to be unveiled in India. Perhaps they should start expecting the arrival of Forza 300 2021.
