  4. Set the changes to remove data automatically after every 3 or 18 months, click on the Choose to remove automatically and select the time that you are okay with. Then Google will remove any recent data which is old than the time you have mentioned.
  5. If you want to remove the history manually, then navigate to the navigation box and then select the Delete activity by and then click on the Last day, hour, custom range, or All time.
  6. As you select the auto-remove setting or you select the data you like to remove, the prompt will display, and then you need to confirm. Choose the Remove or Confirm option.

 To check the new settings, you have to return to the Manage Activity option and ensure that anything that returns 3 or 18 months that you have chosen earlier.

Access Record of the Location History

  1. Log in to the Google account and select the Data and Personalization from the navigation menu.
  2. To check the record of the location information which Google has stored, go to the Activity controls option, then choose the Location History option.
  3. Switch off the toggle to stop Google from tracking the location.
  4. Tap on the Manage Activity option. This will show the location data that Google has gathered as a map or a timeline with the location you have visited or the road you have taken.
  5. Press the trash can option and select the Remove Location History option to permanently remove the entire location history.
  6. Choose the gear option and then click on the Automatically remove location history option to set Google to remove data automatically and then select the time in which you are satisfied.

Control the YouTube Watch and Search History

If you want to control the YouTube watch and search history, then you can follow the provided steps:

  1. Log in to the Google account and select the Data and Personalization from the navigation menu.
  2. Go to the Activity controls to check the data of the location that Google has saved and then tap on the YouTube history option.
  3. If you need Google to stop Google from tracking the YouTube watched and search history, switch off the option.
  4. Press the Manage activity option in which you will get the entire search and watched history.
  5. Set Google to remove data automatically for 3 or 18 months, click on the Choose to remove automatically, and then select the time you are satisfied with.
  6. To remove the history on navigation option, select the Remove activity by and then tap on the Last day, hour, Custom range, or All time option.
  7. As you have selected data you want to remove,  the message will prompt to confirm then choose the Delete option.

To ensure that you the data has cleared, return to the Activity controls and then to Manage activity, ensure that everything removes only 3 or 18 months back.
