When it appears on your device, it affects many operations. In this article, we will teach you how you can fix this issue.

How to Fix Error Not Enough RAM On Photoshop

Here we have mentioned four methods to fix the error not enough Ram on Photoshop.

Through RAM Optimizing Software

Increase Allowed RAM

Turn Off Background application

Edit registry Entry

Reinstall Photoshop

1) Through RAM Optimizing Software

The RAM you have installed into your operating system is shared with Windows and every program that you are running on your PC. Even third-party applications that run on background also use RAM.

If you are running many programs and face several issues with those programs, then not enough memory will be available for performing Adobe Photoshop. So we suggest you use “System Mechanic” to optimize RAM usage.

2) Increase Allowed RAM

Here are the steps to follow:

Launch the Photoshop application on your device.

Launch edit, tap on Preference, and then hit Performance.

Here you need to set the value to 100% of RAM via the slider.

Confirm your changes.

If you can’t assign value 100% of memory, you can set it to 96% and later try again.

3) Turn off Background Application

Here are the steps to follow:

Tap windows + R button on your keyboard to launch “Run.”

In the Run search field, type “msconfig” to launch “System Configuration.”

Tap on the checkbox “Hide entire Microsoft service” box in the service button.

Tap on “Disable all” to turn off the entire active third-party service.

Now confirm your change and start your Photoshop again.

4) Edit Registry Entry

Here are the steps to follow:

Tap Windows + R key to launch the “Run command.”

In the Run search field, type “Regedit” and then tap on the “Enter” button you’re your keyboard.

Now move to the command

“ComputerHKEY_CURRENT_USERSoftwareAdobePhotoshop90.0.”

Right-tap on the empty part that appears on the right pane, and then taps on a new DWORD (32-bit) option.

Rename new created DWORD as “OverridePhysicalMemoryMB” and assign its value 2400.

Remember that here Hexadecimal value is in not on the decimal.

Save your changes, open Photoshop, and then check the issue resolved.

5) Reinstall Photoshop

Here are the steps to follow:

Tap windows + r key together on your keyboard to launch Run command.

In the Run Command line, type “Control panel” to open it.

Select the “Uninstall” program.

Tap on uninstall “Photoshop.”

Move to the “Program File” on the system part and then delete the remaining data.

After the above process, reboots your operating system.

Now download and install the latest version on your operating system.
