Very often during online shopping in Pakistan, website ask for the PIN and other details of your card, at that point you must have to check the authenticity of that particular website. Details about website authenticity are mentioned in the last point. So, don't tell it to anyone and don’t write it at places wherever others can trace or copy it.
Be Conscious about the Receipts:
Whenever you employ a Master or VISA Card, you receive a receipt. It is suggested to not leave the receipt at places from wherever it may be taken by others as that slip often contains all the information about your card, like the number — initial or the previous few digits, style of card — which might create a fraud risk. So, point is to keep the receipts secure.
Be Careful while Online Shopping in Pakistan:
In times when Cyber scammers are too much active, and they may steal your card info and misuse it, you want to make sure that the website provides secured package for the protection of your Debit/Credit Card Details. For assuring that if the website has a secure payment channel or not you can check the URL of that website. If the URL of that website starts with HTTPS then it means that website is using SSL certificate and have a secure payment channel. Other such measures that reduces the risk of transaction frauds are:
- To be there while your card is being swiped by the merchant.
- Checking the amount in the Bill 2 times.
- Quantity that's logged in by the businessperson.
- Destroying the unused cards.
Also, just in case you lose your Debit or VISA card, don't forget to complain about it in the respective bank.
