One of the biggest questions so many peopleFloraSpring Reviewask me when considering the Medifast diet is how much exercise they are required to do! The simple truth is that Medifast does of course recommend you move your body whenever possible while on the program, but the focus is NOT on folks who are hard core exercise aficionados. Due to the fact that Medifast is indeed a low calorie diet, the need to exercise heavily is not quite as pronounced, or hidden in the “fine print” like you’ll see in so many other programs. And that is a GOOD thing for many, as when you find yourself tremendously overweight, one of the very first hurdles is in the difficulty in exercising well and properly…which can ultimately lead many of us to give up the diet in frustration.

You SHOULD be Getting Exercise on the Medifast Diet…or any OTHER Diet for that Matter!

My belief? You should be exercising regardless of your weight loss path. The simple truth for me, having grown up in a family full of physicians, I understand the value of full body attention (and affection..:-) when it comes to taking care of yourself. The more exercise you get, the BETTER you will feel, and the more amenable and congruent losing weight will feel for you…and you’ll make sure it happens. With that being said, many Medifast dieters are simply dropping weight with ease on the program itself WITHOUT having to strenuously workout, simply because the diet is such a powerful tool for superb weight loss.

At the end of the day, I DO believe that regardless of the program you pick DO indeed incorporate as much activity as is comfortable – there is NOTHING quite like looking great after dropping weight, and FEELING equally as good to boot…and a good workout is a phenomenal way of doing just that!
