How to Use Audio Sharing
There are various ways to use audio sharing from Apple devices with the pairing of earbuds and headphones but it depends on the person who shares audio with your device, whenever they are listening already to AirPod.
When AirPods are in Case
It is an easy method to connect AirPod with your device when AirPod is in the cover and connected to the device. You need to open the Case and remove the charging cable from Case, and the AirPod will automatically be connected to your Apple device like iPhone and iPad.
With your brother AirPod connected to your device, press and hold the button on the AirPod case near your device, and wait for some moments, Temporarily Share Audio preview on your screen.
Hit on the button and follow the steps, press and hold the button on the AirPod case for some moments. It is a temporary pairing that is never pairing with your Apple ID.
When AirPods are in Use
If your brother using AirPod and share its audio to you, launched the control center on your device and Hit on AirPlay, which shows in Now Playing Shortcut.
Here you see the AirPod Share Audio option. Hit on the icon and switch your devices towards each other.
Within some moments, Share Audio will be a preview on your device, choose to Share Audio, and Ask your brother to Hit on Joint on their iPhone.
