The Honda Civic is back after nearly 7 years. Without a doubt, the previous Civic was one of the best cars to coming out of the Japanese market and undoubtedly one of the best cars a petrol head could ask for. It looks too hot from any angle, and don't miss the manual transmission that comes with the very nice 1.8L petrol engine. But the question is, will new citizens fulfill the legacy of their predecessors? will it live up to the expectations of those who await it. Will it make a mark like it did in the past.

The All New Honda Civic ONLY comes with an automatic petrol transmission and a diesel engine which is completely powerless and lazy. Diesel actually provides a mileage of nearly 25kmpl, but is that what we want as users? well …. I don't think so and it's quite late considering the global market has started phasing out diesel engines. Now, the only automatic petrol engine comes as the first and is the biggest disappointment. Apparently Honda has done a survey, I consider old people ungils and lazy people, where they choose automatic rather than manual transmission. Manual should be an option, at least for those who specifically demand it. Automatic transmission could be better. The Honda CVT transmission has a distinctive rubber band effect. The effect of a rubber band is when the mid-RPM pull is minimal. If you want to overtake someone instantaneously, you should plan ahead and wait for the hit after the RPM crosses the 5k mark when the sound gets too loud.

Civic has the least power among the cars in its segment. This is three seconds slower than Octavia in hitting the 100 km / h mark. In fact, there is another 1.5L turbo charged Civic available in the international market, which would be a better choice for our market. Honda should have brought it to the market to keep enthusiastic civilians happy or at least in line with its German rival, The Octavia .. In this regard, Octavia has a very good line of engines. Has 2 petrol variants, not including the VRS missile. One of the two variants of the 1.4L turbo charged petrol engine, which is more fun to drive because of the manual shift tunnel, and the other strongest variant is the 1.8 RS engine. This is another reason why Germany is better in this segment. The next car in this segment is the Corolla altis, which is again a very good car, but with very little power as a civilian. Compared to the corolla civic is better in every way, no doubt.

Never mind the performance part, this new Honda Civic stands out in every way. It has maintained a deadly look, especially with the sliding roof and sporty back. He still has a low position and is eager to take a corner with good stability but something is missing… the power of the shot. A low stance plays a very important role in keeping the center of gravity in place and that's what makes cornering so much fun. There is almost no excess control at all that gives you the confidence you desire. Honda has taken interiors to a whole new level by using premium touches where necessary. The older generation Civic was the first on the market to have a digital speedometer that made me drool at the time. This one has fixed it and made it a lot better by providing all the necessary information. The Japanese have taken every corner of the cabin into account and have made this car very ergonomic in terms of space. It's also loaded with lots of first-class features like the camera in the rearview mirror and dual safety features. But after all this, the sales figure fell from 3,000 units in the first month to around 300 units in the following months. This gives us a glimpse into the success rate of Civics in India. It would be much better if the performance figures of Honda Ups the Civics. This is the main reason why citizens have not got a proper market. Maybe Let's hope the R type works at least. That's the only way Honda can make its fans happy. Hopefully.
