I’d like to encourage you not to allow dry spells in your spiritual walk.
Consistent reading of the Word, daily prayer and fellowship with other believers are some of the tools to allow you to stay on the path that God has for you and avoid the enemies’ traps he has laid out for you.
Never get to a point in your Christian walk where you feel, “I got this thing,” and you have arrived spiritually.
No matter if you’ve been saved 5 years or 5 weeks, remain on fire for God and continue to do the things that have kept you and will continue to keep you as long as you don’t let your habits or spiritual things you’ve been taught slip. (Jude 24, Hebrews 2:1)
Just like the Apostle Paul, continue to die daily to the flesh so you can stay on point and on guard so that you won’t give in to temptation when it comes. (Luke 4:13, 1 Corinthians 15:31)
Be not weary in well doing (Galatians 6:9)
Continue to seek God’s face and grow in Him. (1 Chronicles 16:11)
Give and allow Jesus to keep the wheel as you allow Him to steer your life and through your faith and obedience you will reap all the rewards.
