The 2018 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Challenge Asia season will kick off this week. The new Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO racing car with a power of up to 620 horsepower will make its debut in the opening race and usher in the first show of the challenge.
The Lamborghini Super Trofeo has entered its tenth historic year this year, and Asian events will also usher in an unprecedented top international lineup. From April 14th to 15th, the opening match will start at the Sepang International Circuit in Malaysia, starting a wonderful season with 12 rounds in 6 rounds.

In 2018, the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Super Challenge will enter its tenth glorious season, and it will expand the scope of the event and host four major series around the world. The race started in Europe in 2009 and Italian driver Fabio Babini won the first season championship. The Lamborghini Super Trofeo was a huge success immediately, and then the Asian, North American and Middle East series were launched in 2012, 2013 and 2017 respectively.

The seventh season of the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Challenge Asia is about to come. At that time, passionate gentleman drivers and experienced professional drivers will drive the new Lamborghini Huracán Super Trofeo EVO to compete on the same field.
After the Malaysian double-round opener, the race will be moved to Thailand's Buriram Circuit, Japan's famous Suzuka Circuit and Fuji International Circuit, and China's Shanghai International Circuit. The Asian finals will follow Lamborghini Super Trofeo. Together with the Challenger World Finals, it was held at the Vallelunga Circuit in Italy in November.
Each event weekend includes two quarters of 1 hour free practice, two quarters of 15 minutes each and two rounds of 50 minutes each of the main race. Drivers will compete for the championship in four categories, including the professional group for FIA gold and silver drivers, a professional/amateur group with a gold or silver driver and a bronze driver, The amateur group that the bronze driver belongs to, and the Lamborghini Cup group that allows newcomers to participate in the car world. Among the four groups, only the amateur group and the Lamborghini Cup group are allowed to participate as a single driver.
In a two-person team, each driver must complete a qualifying session and start in the corresponding race. Each race includes a mandatory midfield pit stop, applicable to all participating drivers including a single driver.
This year, the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Super Challenge will join hands with event partner Indonesia National Petroleum Corporation, official tire supplier Pirelli, and a new partner, Geneva Haute Watchmaker Roger Dubuis, founded in 1995, to create a wonderful season.
