The Last Night of the Proms 2021 will starts on 30th July and ends on 11th September 2021 and be broadcast on BBC TV, Radio 3, and online.
Britannia will be sung by a live audience when the Last Night Proms returns with a full program this summer.
A Last Night Proms announcement was scheduled to correspond with the 150th anniversary of the Royal Albert Hall’s opening.
But the Last Night of the Proms could not yet say whether concerts will be implemented to full capacity with crowds of up to Six Thousand people.
A spokesperson said: “We can confirm we hope to welcome live audiences back to our glorious home this summer, in line with government regulation.”
The Administration’s roadmap visualizes an end to all social distancing measures on June 21, giving the green light to music carnivals and indoor performances.
Though roadmap is depending on England passing 4 tests – the success of the vaccine rollout, the efficiency of vaccines, how the NHS is managing with the current infection rate, and any possible intimidations from new variations.
Last Night of the Proms tickets is likely to be sold in tranches, with additional seats made available nearer performances if the roadmap stays on path.
Under the most hopeful scenario, the Last Night Proms could still release up to 1,350 standing tickets on the day of each show.
The Night Proms program was substituted by a restricted number of concerts performed for television behind closed doors last year.
But the show was dominated by a row over whether Britannia would be sung at the Last Night of the Proms.
The Royal Albert Hall faced collapse during a year of lockdown but was able to plan for this summer’s Last Night Proms after receiving a £20.7m lifeline from the Government.
The Last Night proms said: “We are looking forward to a summer of world-class music-making.”
Some Night Proms are expected to be staged outside of the Hall as part of the Night Proms promise to spread its cultural reach away from London.
