Waddell was drafted by the Miami Dolphins, in sixth place overall, behind compatriot Jamal Chase, who finished fifth for the Cincinnati Bengals. We don't know what Jaggers did to players like Chase or Heisman Trophy winner Devonta Smith, but obviously, the Jaguars did a great job with Waddell, who is probably the number one catcher in their class. Sharing an 8.0 draft pick with Lawrence certainly makes it look like this.
