The wedding of the captain of the Indian cricket team Virat Kohli and the Bollywood star Anushka Sharma will be in Tuscany. The wedding will be celebrated in the Borgo Finocchieto resort, which occupies a 13th-century hamlet in Buonconvento, near the castle of Bibbiano, 35 kilometers south of Siena.

Purchased in 2001 by former US ambassador John Phillips, the village, which consists of five villas, has undergone eight years of restoration, to become one of the world's most luxurious hotel complexes, capable of accommodating 44 people in 22 rooms. Visited last May by Obama on holiday in Italy, Borgo Finocchieto was booked by Virat and Anushka until December 13, when the wedding celebration in Punjabi tradition is scheduled.

Three characteristics that imposed Anushka Sharma on Indian screens is her beaming smile, a cheerful spontaneity, and energy that passes through the screen. The young actress was born in Ayodhya, one of the holy cities of North India, Uttar Pradesh on May 1, 1988. She is the youngest daughter of Ashima Sharma, a housewife, and retired Colonel Ajay Kumar Sharma. She has an older brother, Karnesh, a former top cricketer, who is now in the merchant navy.

Military families of the Indian Army often move at the whim of assignments, thereby Anushka grows and follows her schooling in Bangalore, in the army school. After an honors degree in arts from Mount Carmel College, Bangalore, Anushka moved with her family to Mumbai with one goal in mind to become a model.

She began her career at the age of fifteen, with the support of her parents. She enrolled in the Elite agency and asks for national brands, and was noticed by the fashion designer and choreographer Prasad Bidapa, who became her best friend. With the latter, Anushka goes immediately on the catwalk and was chosen by the designer Wendell Rodricks for his show at Lakme Fashion Week. It was his supermodel for the spring-summer 2007 season.

Through the photography agency Elite, she landed on the desk of director Aditya Chopra who was seeking female heroine for his next film, Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. She is convened for an audition and, to her surprise, she was selected from hundreds of girls to embody Tani, opposite Shah Rukh Khan in the role of Surinder, the very loving husband.

Thanks to the confidence of Aditya Chopra and Yash Chopra, the debutante, who was not twenty years at the beginning of filming, was perfectly up to the task facing the superstar. The result was stunning and the film was a huge success. Anushka considered Shah Rukh with respect to her great elder, who returned the compliments for her professionalism and perfectionism as he compared her to that of Kajol.

Since her first film in 2008 with Shah Rukh Khan, the young actress made her way under the banner of Yash Raj Films or with other production houses. If her filmography is still quite small, she is considered one of the most talented young actresses of her generation. This is the beginning of a new story, and another career she had never really dreamed of. She was named in the best actress category for a range of awards and won the Apsara Film & Television Producers Guild Award in 2009.

The following year, she continued with two new comedies produced by Aditya Chopra, Badmaash Company with Shahid Kapoor and especially Band Baaja Baaraat. This third film was a surprise success, and again had a rain of awards, alone or with a partner beginner, Ranveer Singh. The couple was restored for a second time in 2011 for Ladies vs Ricky Bahl, a scam comedy where they share the screen, alas, only in the second part.

Anushka Sharma now shows other facets of her talent and begins to venture into deeper roles. For her first foray outside the Yash Raj film universe in Patiala House of Nikhil Advani, she plays Simran, the tender friend of Gattu that stimulates that he dares to oppose the paternal edicts. In 2012, in Jab Tak Hai Jaan, the latest film by Yash Chopra, she finds her first partner, Shah Rukh Khan.

She is never better than in scenes where she is directly opposite him. In the role of ambitious young fearless eyes, who flirt shamelessly and is hopelessly in love, she develops brilliantly a rare palette of emotions, managing to mix in the same grimace, joy and despair. Her mobile face is very expressive and is a feast for the directors who know how to play and bring out her real charisma.

Her character Akira is her best role with a beautiful female role with a spontaneity and passion. Her performance earned her the well deserved Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. In 2013, Anushka was seen in Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola with Imran Khan in a comedy more or less political by Vishal Bhardwaj.

She seemed a little less comfortable, but her character Bijlee had no previous thickness. We see her soon in November 2014 in Bombay Velvet with Anurag Kashyap, where she plays a jazz singer, Rosie and alongside of Aamir Khan, whose last film, PK, came at Christmas in December 2014.

In 2015, we saw her in NH 10 directed by Navdeep Singh, a film where she was the co-producer, as the beautiful and talented actress embarked on the production of films, which she believed. Then it was Ae Dil Hai Mushkil. Hopefully, the director will, thanks to the radiant life force of this female performer, show a little touch of light in his vision of the world.

Anushka Sharma is very reserved about her private life and refuses to speak in public. On December 2017, Anushka Sharma married the cricketer Virat Kohli in a private ceremony in Italy. Between games and shootings, we find them together very often. She has also recently been attacked by the same press for a so-called cosmetic surgery, a re-pulping of the lips. Regardless of rumors and gossip, it's on film sets we love to see and hear her.
