Yamaha has launched the 2020 XSR155 in Philippines with a price tag of PHP 162,000 (INR 246,235). The 155cc retro-styled motorcycle was initially scheduled to come to Southeast Asia, but the pandemic propelled the Japanese two-wheeler make to put off the launch.
Two colour options are available for the Philippine 2020 XSR155-Garage Metal and Tech Black. The 2020 Yamaha XSR155 boasts its fabulous appearance. Its design is inherited from the XSR series and the new model looks distinctively unique. It has a round headlamp that is compatible with the vintage look of the motorcycle. The LEDs add the bike modern elements. The digital circular instrument cluster with an easy-to-read panel make all figures visible. Besides, it also shows the gear position indicator.
The fuel tank has a teardrop shape, which is a timeless design. It’s built of high-quality material. The bike also receives refinement to offer the rider a comfortable and confident riding position. The gorgeous classically-styled seat is another highlight of the 2020 Yamaha XSR155.
There are a series of new gears on the feature list, including USD front forks, LED taillamp, dual-purpose tyres, aluminium swingarm, assist and slipper clutch, and delta box frame. The Japanese two-wheeler maker also strengthen the aesthetic appeal of the motorcycle through using a number of handcrafted parts.
A 155cc sing-cylinder engine that features Yamaha’s WA technology is the power source of the 2020 Yamaha XSR155. This motor is also used in the Yamaha R15 V3.0 and Yamaha MT-15. After improvement, the liquid-cooled mill now can generate 14.2KW or 19.3PS of peak power at 10,000 rpm and 14.7 Nm of maximum torque at 8,500 rpm. It’s paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
