Planning a wedding is not difficult these days; you can get all the wedding planning services in just a click now. The real problem here is that how do you pull one in the middle of a pandemic?

Do you know how much risk it could be to have a wedding reception with so many people actively participating in it? Well but that is not the end; we need to learn how to live with this virus. Then why not figure out a few ways where we can live our normal lives keeping COVID at bay.

Coming back to the topic now, if you are looking out for ways to get married while taking all the safety precautions, then wait up!

We have a whole list of to-do things planned out for you.

Safety Precautions and Covid Weddings

Getting Ready

The most fun part of any wedding is to get ready! As much of a fun task it is, there are many risks here too.

You can make all the family members get ready in separate rooms or take turns, but what about the bride or groom? Makeup and hair teams should adopt new practices of working at a distance; this may seem physically impossible, but what else can be done here.

Masks and gloves should be mandatory for beauty vendors, as the bride would be unable to wear either of those. While keeping the required distance may seem impossible, why not the beauty team constantly wear a mask to protect themselves and the bride.

Safety Precautions

You may have seen how many restaurants, boutiques, and workplaces are choosing to perform a temperature check upon anyone’s arrival. Well, time to implement that!

You can do the same with your guests! Keep a security guard at your front door all the time and make sure he checks the temperature of everyone attending the wedding.  Although some people may have Covid but are asymptomatic, you can still do whatever you can to protect everyone.

Don’t forget to check if people are wearing masks and following the social distancing! Keeping an eye on all these things, you may then proceed further with the wedding rituals.

Ceremony Time

There are still many people out there who wouldn’t follow every protocol. They would straight up enter without a mask or shake hands with people. There are many little things like these, now what should you do in such situations?

For starters, you can give out masks to people who came without them, then hand out sanitizers and make the seating arrangement keeping social distancing in mind. To make your guests feel comfortable, don’t just hand all these out abruptly. Make small baskets to gift the guests while they enter.

Think smart, and then try to take all the precautions and implement them on your guests too.

Virtual Attendance

You do know that zoom is not just for online classes and business meetings? You can do so much more on it too, such as wedding planning services.

By planning every little detail with your planners on zoom, you can make it possible for your friends and family to virtually attend your wedding. In fact, you can invite all your friends and family from all over the world to join in your big day.

You can connect your big speakers with your phones or iPad and talk to your loved ones. Not just that, you may even set up a projector to see everyone live on the big screen. It may not be an excellent plan, but it would be enough for you!

Dinner Time

Now all the other tasks may seem easy, whereas this one is not!

Planning a dinner for guests while expecting them to keep the social distance is not easy. So instead of setting up a buffet system, try serving your guests at the table. It will require a lot of people from your wedding planning service, but the good thing is you will get to train them.

If not that, then you may just go with the buffet system, but instead of allowing everyone at the same time, try convincing the guests to take turns. All this may seem hard, but you have to do everything in your power to keep your guests and family safe.

These were a few tricks you may apply to your wedding receptions!
