Samsung’s Galaxy and Note lines offer the most trusted and reliable devices to all Android users. Both lines provide exceptional performance and have always matched each other’s capabilities. Recently, Samsung jumped from Galaxy 10 to Galaxy 20. Later, in the Samsung line, the XDR developers found the name ‘Samsung Galaxy Note 20’ surfacing on screen. This suggests that soon the Android market will be focused on the release of Samsung Galaxy Note 20. But there is no confirmation from the company. Some reports indicate that we will probably get to see Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Ultra or the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus. However, the arrival of the Ultra version is stronger than the Note 20 version.
On 5th August 2020, Samsung has their Galaxy Unpacked event, and there the developers might spill some beans about the rumors related to the upcoming device and its release date. The company has not mentioned anything about the upcoming devices, yet. But some reports claim that the latest devices will be available from 21st August onwards.
Design and Camera
Some reports show that the upcoming Galaxy devices will feature a sleek design, big screen (proper sizes are still under speculations), chunky cameras, and more or less similar design and shape to that of the previous devices from the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 series. Galaxy Note 20 renders were leaked a few days ago, which hints that the phone might have a 6.5+ inch screen. Whereas, the screen size for Samsung Galaxy Note 20 Plus or Ultra devices might go up to 6.9-inch. Both the devices will be equipped with quad-camera at the back, but their specs will vary.
Some pictures of the device surfaced on the web, which suggests that the cameras will use prominent lenses and have a vertical arrangement. The camera might be able to click high-quality zoom-in shots and make an ideal device for the budding photographers.
Features
Since Samsung always gives away the best processors and performance, one can guess that the latest devices will use Snapdragon 865 SoC, 5G connectivity, and Wi-Fi 6 support. However, the chipset might be different as Qualcomm is also coming up with Snapdragon 865 Plus. So, Samsung might gravitate towards Qualcomm’s processor for offering the best device.
Samsung being the powerful device launcher, might as well introduce IP68 rating on the device along with robust memory of 256GB or more and 12GB of RAM. We are expecting wireless charging, in-display fingerprint, and smart camera setup on the devices. As per the rumors, the battery will be satisfactory, which might start at about 4,500mAh on both the devices. Some sources suggest that the devices will also feature Gorilla glass security and AMOLED screen. Unfortunately, we cannot expect to see a headphone jack on either of the devices as Samsung ditched that feature in the previous ones. Hence, the possibilities for the latest ones are minimal.
Now, comes the pricing part of the devices. The previous line of Samsung Galaxy Note 10 has the products with the highest price of $1,400. So, the costs for the Samsung Galaxy Note 20 and Ultra will exceed that limit. There are no details about the launch of this product, as of yet. But Samsung will launch these devices on a global scale only.
