It can be much more useful for the personal use of the people along with for their commercial and official purposes. Images often make the content more compelling and contribute a lot to bring a considerable amount of traffic to any website.

But, often people find it very hard to search the sources of the images they are using. No matter for whatever reason you are using pictures, but it is always good to know about the source of the image along with the entity the image belongs to.  It may be that you have taken some images to use in your article or to share any meme with your friend but knowing about the source is going to tell you a lot. Whenever you proceed to search for the origin of any image, it will help you to know about the location displayed in the image. Moreover, you will come to know from where and how the image or meme has started its journey on the internet. The only thing you will need to do is to put some keywords in the right combination to make your search easy; however search for some images can become time-consuming for you.

The search for the image source is quite easy when doing on the desktop. You need to go to the link appearing as image.google.com and tap on the icon of a camera. In either way, you can also upload the URL or image to search for the source of that image. However, when it comes to exploring the source of the image using the web browser on mobile, then the scenario changes and becomes quite tough. But, there are some ways which can be helpful for you.

The users can do the same thing by tapping on the menu visible in three-dot on Chrome. The users will need to choose the option of a desktop version later. When the iPhone users use Chrome, then the desktop mode will appear listed in section More to select and enable it. You can go to the context menu for selecting Google for this image; however, it will bring you the results of the image the same as before. Also,  you can search for the source image through the option of Google Lens. It will provide you with the opportunity to search for the portion of any cropped image. The users can avail the Google Lens option by going to the link Chrome://flags and click on it. It will enable you to search for the images powered by Google Lens on the menu. The users will need to allow the option to access the option in the list appearing as Search With Google Lens.

The users can also give a try to the desktop version introduced by Microsoft Bing as Visual Search and Yandex.
