Since its first introduction in 2016, the automatic scooter (scooter) has undergone a comprehensive change. At that time, its existence became a new option for sports scooters with an engine capacity of 150 cc.
In view of the four-year production age that has entered production, and updated information on motorcycles have been provided, it is only suitable for Yamaha to make major changes to the scooter.
Yamaha sells all new Aerox 155 connectors at a price of IDR 25.5 million, while the ABS type is sold at a price of IDR 29 million. Prices hit the road in the DKI Jakarta area.

As mentioned earlier, the new Aerox 155 Connected has the genes of a super sports motorcycle combined with a scooter. Therefore, the appearance of this motorcycle is like a racing car.
This makes his figure appear lively, sporty and full of sharp curves. In addition, the X-shape in the middle of the motorcycle and the side body exterior that looks like a motorsport fairing further emphasize the latest model.
The LED DRL above it emphasizes the use of thicker LED headlights. Many people say that the appearance of the new Aerox 155 Connected is similar to the Honda Vario 150, but if you look closely, its appearance will be very different.
The sporty design still radiates from the handlebar cover, the handlebar cover is still tapered and thinner, but the shape is more outward. Behind it is a new digital dashboard that can display various information.
The curved seats of the new Aerox 155 Connected are still multi-layered like a racing car. The rear body is thinner and shorter, and the rear lamp top cover is slightly inclined.
New design taillights with LEDs, and motorsport-type turn signals that still use bulbs. The rear fender looks thick and long, and the dirt on the wheels can be predicted.
What about the Honda Vario 150? In fact, apart from the engine capacity used, the appearance of the Honda scooter is no different from the Honda Vario 125.
Honda Vario 150 is still like an ordinary scooter, it prioritizes practicality and uses a flat deck that can be used to carry cargo. The sporty design is full of sharp lines, and the Indonesian people can accept it well.
The front body protrudes forward, and the thin LED headlights are escorted to make a deep impression, and are decorated with LED DRL lights and integrated turn signals.
The Honda Vario 150 has a smaller handlebar cover, giving it a slim impression. Behind it is a digital dashboard that contains as complete information as the “new Aerox 155 Connected”.

On the surface, the new Aerox 155 Connected is better than the Honda Vario150. This is because the Yamaha scooter uses a new engine with Blue Core technology with a capacity of 155 cc, SOHC 4-valve VVA and liquid cooling.
Honda Vario 150 relies on eSP technology 150 cc SOHC 2 valve liquid coolant. Both use injection fuel supply and CVT automatic transmission, compact structure.
But in terms of engine output, the new Aerox 155 Connected has a power of 15.3 PS / 8,000 rpm and a torque of 13.9 Nm / 6,500 rpm. In comparison, the Honda Vario 150 can only produce 13.1 PS / 8,500 rpm and 13.4 Nm / 5,000 rpm of torque.
Theoretically speaking, the performance of the Honda Vario 150 is indeed inferior to Honda, but the fuel consumption of the Honda Vario 150 is better. According to the manufacturer, it can reach 46.9 km/l.
Yamaha’s new Aerox 155 Connected has only two types: standard and ABS. The prices on the roads in Jakarta are 25.5 million rupiah and 29 million rupiah respectively.
Although the Honda Vario 150 also has two types, they are only different in terms of color performance, and there is no difference in completeness. Therefore, it is not surprising that the price difference between the different types is not large, ranging from IDR 24.15 million to IDR 24.3 million.
Indeed, Yamaha’s new Aerox 155 Connected is more expensive than the Honda Vario 150, but its features are much more complicated. The appearance issue is also important because it has the latest model and has the appearance of sporting DNA.
Similarly, the Blue Core engine is escorted by variable valves, which are the mainstay of Yamaha Maxi Yamaha products. In addition to fuel consumption and more economical prices, the Honda Vario 150 severely lost to the all-new Aerox 155 Connected.
