Kawasaki India has kicked off a launch spree, most recently launching its entire 650 range, including the 2020 Ninja 650, Z650, Vulcan S with BS6 compliant engines. Alongside the 2020 Ninja 1000 SX. Now sources have confirmed that Kawasaki will launch the Z900 with a BS6 compliant engine later this month.

Interestingly, this will be the second launch of the 2020 Z900 in India. The bike debuted in February as a limited edition and went on sale in limited numbers, albeit with a BS4 compliant engine. Now, it is likely that Kawasaki will continue to bring the limited edition to showrooms, this time with a BS6 compliant engine.

To sum it up, the 2020 Kawasaki Z900 receives a long list of modifications, including a completely reworked front with an LED headlight. It also includes the Bluetooth-enabled TFT dashboard, traction control system, two power modes and four ride modes and will now use Dunlop Sportmax Roadsport tires. Power figures will likely remain at 123PS and 98.6Nm of torque compared to the 948cc inline-four.

The BS4 Z900 special edition was priced at Rs 7.99lakh, a premium of Rs 30,000 over the standard version. The BS6 version could bring this figure slightly above 8 lakh.
