Frankly, I'd enjoy more information from OSRS for RS3. We obtained Anachronia as our response to runescape 2007 gold Fossil Island, I would really love some of the guilds, skilling resources and guilds they have. “Plenty” is a stretch, but yes, the teams do still work somewhat together and do copy their homework, but, OSRS has more of RS3 compared to RS3 has of OSRS. It's not something to bend on, we have to remember that RS3 has had more time, advancement, and thought placed into systems and mechanics. It's simpler to replicate something that has proven to be”great” rather than trying to make up your own thoughts.

OSRS is slowly becoming just another RS3 fork so many people don't even recognize it. Because as long as it's not EoC, MTX, or powercreeped, most individuals don't mind new additions so long as they're well balanced. Hell, many people desired a 2011-2012 replica of RuneScape but had to pay for 2007, which is slowly coming nearer into the pre-eoc feel.Seriously it's remarkable just how much I hear people on RS3 bitch about dung while I absolutely loved that upgrade. Just sucks weapons just have 1 attack mode now (used to be able to use 2h to slash and crush that covered nearly every style you had ).

I mean sure, not everybody would stop since some would enjoy buying ranks/levels/etc. Gold farmers like Vene's would still be playing only because it's better than their occupations, MTX or not. But there'd still be a huge drop in gamers, particularly with the way one-sided the current poll was for the sponsor-mtx that were just purely cosmetic products. Could not Jagex only hold new content hostage until OSRS players vote in favour of greater MTX, like they did with bonds and F2P OSRS? Bonds are much worse MTX than makeup and yet most OSRS players have not quit.

They might try, but most people really wanted bonds. People were buying OSRS gold for real cash from day 1, so letting them do it via jagex didn't change anything there, all it did was enable people to cover their membership with ingame gold. This is hilarious, they could hardly make content I dont think they're in a position to hold it hostage, all three dozen individuals setting up with their shit would likely just move on.

But I should have said they wouldn't stop if it was decorative only MTX. Mat K talked about this and it is over 90 percent of gamers do not want buyable exp (internal evaluations by encouraging players over). They would quit. However, if RS3 wasnt profitable anymore they'd forcefully put MTX onto 07 to make up gains, but cosmetics only. They also said they'd only agree with decorative only MTX if it had been an absolute must for buy old school rs gold to stay alive. 07 is steadily declining in gamers, so finally it will probably get to this point.
