Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is one of the popular series of Marvel. It has its fair share of twists over the years. The plot includes Ward being the agent of Hydra and the apocalyptic future in space. The show has all potential to keep its audience on its toes. After the show has tonnes of such incredible plots for its audience in the future, some might get frustrated when the story does not go they get thought it would be, and that makes the plot unpredictable. And fortunately, after seven years, S.H.I.E.L.D managed to surprise its fans multiple times. In this article, we will try to find out a few things that nobody saw coming in the seventh season.

Agent Daniel Sousa Joining The Team

Fans have some idea that Enver Gjokaj would have a guest appearance as Agent Daniel in the seventh season, but they did not expect him to be in the series for the entire season. After the cancellation of Agent Carter people thought Sousa and Peggy lived happily ever after. But in Avengers: Endgame Steve Rogers traveled back in time and settled down with Peggy. After that, audiences were left wondering what happened to poor Agent Sousa. The story of S.H.I.E.L.D. continues with Sousa’s brand new life. He has a new leg and a new love interest. Later Sousa joined the team to stop Chronicoms and fell in love with Daisy Johnson after completing the mission.

Daisy’s Secret Sister

It was a surprising twist in Season 7 that the team goes back to the Afterlife. And the real shock was when fans found out that Jiaying had another daughter before Daisy. Although she never mentioned Kora before, and she had little idea about her life before meeting Calvin. Jiaying never brought Kora up, because the memory of losing her daughter was excruciating. Thankfully, Daisy did not have to lose another family member, as she recruited Kora to S.H.I.E.L.D.

The Return Of John Garrett And Victoria Hand

Since many characters were killed in Season 1, and Bill Paxton passed away in 2017, very few audiences expected to see John Garrett return. It was pleasing to see Paxton step into his father’s role. It was fun to watch Young Garrett join the bad guys, and it was shocking that young Victoria killed him off. Because of that their roles changed from season 1when Agent Hand was killed by Grant Ward.
