Week 28- 34

  • If you have young children; start talking about the new baby with them.

  • Ensure that your cloths, and especially shoes are comfortable.

Week 35-42

  • Get your bags ready if you are giving birth in a hospital.

  • During these weeks, give yourself plenty of rest because sleeping may be increasingly difficult; so, rest whenever your body is in need of it.

  • You may go into labour any time between 38 to 42 weeks. Call your hospital anytime as soon as you start experiencing pain.

Additional Tips

  • The chemicals found in the makeup products can harm the development of your baby. Curtail their use or find a replacement.

  • Inform your employer about maternity leaves at least 15 weeks before your due date.

  • Gastroenteritis is quite common during pregnancy and if you are experiencing the same, visit a gastro hospital such as in Delhi.

  • Make preparation for the announcement of pregnancy in advance.

  • Take before and after pictures; this will make you feel happy.
